Google has just written a blog post introducing “Insights for Search”, an extension to its Google Trends and AdWords products that allows users to track keywords across different verticals, geographic locations, and time periods.
Microsoft beats back Mac and Firefox in July

Microsoft halted a long loss of market share to both Firefox and Mac in July, as both Mac OS X and Firefox usage stalled or dropped. It's too soon to know whether this will stop Windows and Internet Explorer's long slide, but it's certainly good news for Microsoft.

Kentucky has picked every US President since 1964. Right now the state is trending towards …John McCain. Washington remains determinedly Democrat, however, as does Pennsylvania. Alaska is reliably Republican. In a nationwide poll released by CNN, Obama has a seven-point lead.
