Falun Gong practitioners held the "36 Million Quit the CCP" rally in New York. SinoVision news anchors claimed that Falun Gong practitioners had disrupted the earthquake fund raising event. However, no video clips of Falun Gong interference with the earthquake fundraising efforts can be found in the SinoVision report.

We keep hearing about the housing price meltdown. www.zillow.com has some facts about the ritzy 90210 zip code on the west side of Los Angeles (1 mile east of UCLA). You can double difference the data presented below. The blue line presents time trends over the last 5 years in average home prices in 90210 while the red line presents average home prices in Los Angeles county. I see divergence big time. The Tim Gleason signing seems like a good one for both parties. Obviously, the blue-liner deserved a raise (he made $1,175,000 last year.) The new cap hit will be 2.75M for the next 4 years, which certainly won’t break the Hurricanes budget. I think that Nashville’s signing of Ryan Suter a couple of days ago, helped to set the bar for this one. Suter got 14M over 4 years and has somewhat better stats than Gleason does.
